 About The Owner

My name is Nehémie Mayerling Pierre. I’m a fashion designer, stylist, and Haitian artisan, as well as a head costume designer in the film industry.

My creative path is deeply rooted in Haitian heritage, Afro-Caribbean art, and the spiritual richness of Vodou  all translated into unique, meaningful, and emotionally powerful designs.

Through MAJESTIC by MAYERLING, I create handcrafted pieces using African wax fabrics, Haitian carabela, leather, beaded embroidery, and symbols inspired by Vodou vèvès.

Each creation is a statement of identity, honoring the cultural power and elegance of Haiti.

My Career in Film

My experience on set also fuels my artistic vision.

I have worked on several major productions:

  •  KIDNAPPING Inc. and MALATCHONG by Bruno Mourral (Head Costume Designer)

  •  Murder in Pacot by Raoul Peck (Assistant Costume Designer)

  • FREDA by Gessica Généus (Head Costume Designer)

Socially Engaged Fashion

Alongside my design work, I’m also a social worker and the founder of ALAMEN, a socio-professional and cultural association based in Santiago de los Caballeros (Dominican Republic).

ALAMEN supports young Haitian migrants — especially girls — by teaching them manual skills to help them build autonomy, dignity, and a better future.

My work bridges tradition and innovation, memory and creation, fashion and film, art and action.

Thank you for being part of this cultural and artistic journey.
